Why aren't new users' credentials syncing with the Account View page on my Barracuda Web Filter?

Scope:
All Barracuda Web Filters on all versions of firmware.

Answer:
If a new user logs onto a client machine and its identity is not synchronized with the Barracuda Web Filter on the Users/Groups > Account View page, you may not have set the DC Agent to run automatically. If this is so, after rebooting the Domain Controller, the DC Agent will not start up on its own. To resolve this, follow these steps:
  1. Check the Administrative Tools > Services page of each of your Domain Controllers.
  2. Make sure Barracuda DC Agent is set to run automatically.
The DC agent should now start whenever the Domain Controller is rebooted.
