Why can't I see the Web or Application Logs on my Barracuda Web Filter when using Internet Explorer 9?

Scope:
This solution applies to the Barracuda Web Filter, all firmware versions.

Answer:
When using Internet Explorer 9, the Web or Application Logs will sometimes display incorrectly (most often it is rendered blank).

This can be fixed by using Internet Explorer's compatibility mode.
  1. While using IE9, press F12.
  2. A pop up window will appear.
  3. In the top menu of the window, locate the option labeled "Browser Mode"
  4. Select Internet Explorer 8 from the drop down menu.
  5. Close the window.
After making these changes, you should notice that the Web and Application logs now appear correctly. In some cases, it may be necessary to restart Internet Explorer.
