How can I export Barracuda Web Filter tables to CSV format for spreadsheet applications?

Solution #00006305

Applies to all Barracuda Web Filter appliances on all versions of firmware.

With the Barracuda Web Filter, it is easy to export several web interface tables to a file having a universal comma-separated value (CSV) format. Since most tables in the Barracuda Web Filter provide a bulk edit option, simply copy the bulk edit information into a text file and save with the .csv file extension.

For example, to export the Domains Whitelist:
  1. Navigate to Block/Accept>Domains.
  2. Under Allowed Domains, click Bulk Edit.
  3. In the pop-up window, copy all text.
  4. Open the notepad application (or your favorite text editor) and paste.
  5. Save the file as whitelist.csv.
Whitelist.csv can now be opened with your choice of spreadsheet application, such as Open Office, Google Docs, or Excel for viewing or editing.
