Answer:The Barracuda Web Filter’s Warn feature offers functionality to help administrators keep track of access to questionable sites. While convenient, the Warn page does require a fresh session on each page in order to function properly. If the browser is configured to cache internet content, this could cause the Warn page to malfunction or fail. For instance, if Internet Explorer is configured to never check for updates of cached pages, the Warn page will continually loop upon itself. To resolve this:
- Open Internet Options from either Internet Explorer or the Control Panel.
- Under the General tab, click Settings from the Browsing history section.
- Change the Temporary Internet Files option from Never to Automatically, and click OK.
Warn pages should now properly allow users to access sites, while conveniently providing reporting on warned activity to administrators.
