Solution # 00006793

Scope: Barracuda Web Filters, DC agent prior to 7.1.13

Answer:

Example:
mapping: ldap0:rgiron-nbk$ to RGIRON-NBK
mapping: ldap0:rgiron to Ricardo Giron Castillo

This is due to a bug in the DC agent that is fixed in DC agent version 7.1.13, please update to the latest GA web filter firmware and then download and install the latest DC agent from the updated agent download link, bottom of the User/Groups tab> Authentication page, to fix this. If not able to update firmware presently and customers wanting the latest DC agent that is compatible with O.S 2008 and 2012, this link should allow you to download and install pre-firmware updating. http://d.barracuda.com/dca/7.x/DCAgent.exe

Additional notes:

Once updated, and only 1 Barracuda-DCAgent Service is running on the DC, Please add the Domain information to the domains page of configuration, as required since 6.0 agent revisions and then to add the IP of web filter to the allowed web filters/appliances page. Now restart the agent service and it should be working.
