Why are my Yosemite Server Backup Logs incomplete?

Scope:

Yosemite Server Backup, version 8.0 and above

 

Answer:

When a backup job is complete, the logs can be seen from the Job Status > Job Properties > Logs screen within Yosemite Server Backup Administrator. The job logs may not all appear on one screen, leading you to conclude that the logs are incomplete. When a job generates a large number of entries, a set of buttons are provided to allow navigation from screen to screen.   

 

Optionally, you can view the logs in their entirety by saving them to a file or sending them to a printer.
