Barracuda Yosemite Server Backup

How do I view the encryption setting for a backup job in Yosemite Server Backup?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: one year ago

Solution #00004261

Scope:
Yosemite Server Backup 8.8 and newer.

Answer:
There are two ways to see what encryption setting was used for a backup in Yosemite Server Backup.

  1. Check the Properties of the backup job in question. In the properties there is an Encryption page that will show you how the encryption is configured.

  2. Check the Media section of the log for the backup in question. This section will include a listing of what media were used and then encryption setting used on those media.
