Scope:

Yosemite Server Backup 8.8 and newer.

Answer:

To be able to view drives mounted over a network with Yosemite Server Backup, such as an NFS mount or CIFS/samba mounts, you will need to do the following:

  1. Open the Yosemite Server Backup GUI.
  2. Expand Advanced.
  3. Select Catalog.
  4. Expand Network.
  5. Expand the Linux machine with the mounts.
  6. Expand System Drivers.
  7. Locate and right-click on File System Driver (right pane).
  8. Select Properties from the right-click context menu.
  9. Check mark Remote Mounts.
  10. Apply the setting changes.

You should now be able to view these mount points in your file system.
