This article refers to firmware 4.2 and higher running on the Barracuda Load Balancer model 640 that includes PORT1 through PORT10.
You can create services on each Network Port on different networks.
Route Path in a Two-Arm Configuration
In the web interface, go to the BASIC > Services page, and Create the following services to establish Route Path in a two-arm configuration:
- Service Service1 on [ PORT1 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT6 ]
- Service Service2 on [ PORT2 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT7 ]
- Service Service3 on [ PORT3 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT8 ]
- Service Service4 on [ PORT4 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT9 ]
Service Service5 on [ PORT5 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT10 ]
Route Path in a One-Arm Configuration
In the web interface, go to the BASIC > Services page, and create the following services to establish Route Path in a one-arm configuration:
Service Service1 on [ WAN ] and the servers of this service under [ WAN ]
Service Service2 on [ PORT1 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT1 ]
Service Service3 on [ PORT2 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT2 ]
Service Service4 on [ PORT3 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT3 ]
Service Service5 on [ PORT4 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT4 ]
Service Service6 on [ PORT5 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT5 ]
Service Service7 on [ PORT6 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT6 ]
Service Service8 on [ PORT7 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT7 ]
Service Service9 on [ PORT8 ] and the servers of this service under [ PORT8 ]
