Integrating Intronis Backup

  • Last updated on

For security reasons, only a built-in admin with Multi-Factor Authentication enabled can set up an Intronis Backup integration. The built-in admin is the user who set up Barracuda RMM. If you are not a built-in admin user, you do not have the rights to set up an Intronis Backup integration.

You can set up one Intronis Backup integration per VAR.

On the User Management page, users linked to an ECHOplatform Partner account have a checkmark  blue checkmark.png in the ECHOplatform Partner column of the user table.

Once you have integrated ECHOplatform, you may want to start using an Intronis Backup policy to set up alerts. For more information, see Creating Intronis Backup Policies.

Intronis Backup requires an additional license. Contact your Barracuda sales representative.

You also need the following:

  • A valid Intronis Backup account.
  • An ECHOplatform partner account connected to your Intronis Backup account. For more information, see Getting Started with ECHOplatform.
  • An ECHOplatform customer account.
  • Your ECHOplatform credentials.
  • You can add one Intronis Backup integration per VAR.

Intronis Backup organizes information differently than Barracuda RMM. The terminology used by Intronis Backup and Barracuda RMM may differ.

To integrate Intronis Backup, follow the procedures below:

  • If you haven't already created an ECHOplatform account, follow the To create the customer account in ECHOplatform procedure
